New Delhi: For the past several days, continuous rain has continued in some states of North East India and some regions of South India, including the states of North India. At the same time, rain and snowfall continues in the hilly areas.
Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, the weather has been fine for several days in the national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas. Even the speed of cooler-fans in people’s homes has reduced. A feeling of coldness is felt in a hot month like May. Fog was also seen in many areas of Delhi-NCR this morning.
According to the India Meteorological Department, light rain occur in some districts of Bihar today. However, no rain warning has been given in Bihar since Friday. Also, the temperature is likely to increase by four to six degrees continuously. According to the Skymet Weather report, light to moderate rains and showers are likely to occur over Western Himalayas today. Snowfall may occur at one or two places on higher mountains.
The Meteorological Department has expected cloudy skies and light rain in Delhi till May 7. At the same time, according to the IMD in Uttarakhand, in the next four days, light to moderate rain and sprinkles are expected in the whole of Uttarakhand with snowfall at an altitude of more than 3,200 meters.
According to India Meteorological department, Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh are likely to experience light to moderate rain and heavy rain at isolated places today. At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh and light to moderate rain at one or two places in East Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. Light rain at one or two places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, North and East Rajasthan, rest of Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, Kerala, South Karnataka, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.
