IMD forecast predicts light to moderate rain occur in Delhi-NCR from March 17 to 20

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicts it is expected to rain in Delhi-NCR from March 17 to 20. Hail may also fall in some places, which will damage the wheat crop. New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicts it is expected to rain in Delhi-NCR from March 17 to 20. Hail may also fall in some places, which will damage the wheat crop. Due to this, the maximum temperature will not go above 30 degrees and the minimum temperature will not go above 18 degrees Celsius. This will give relief to people from the heat of summer.

After March 21, the temperature will return to normal and the heat will start increasing. However, its heat will not be so intense that people will suffer. Pleasant weather started in Delhi-NCR from Thursday. Now this weather is going to remain like this for the next few days. This week, light rain is expected in the area for the next few days and there will be cloudy skies all around. Which will curb the rising heat.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a Western Disturbance has become active in the Himalayan region, under the influence of which light rain is expected in North-West India for the next few days. Due to this, the maximum temperature can remain around 30 degrees Celsius.

According to private weather agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible in parts of Vidarbha, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Scattered rain may occur in parts of Western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi. Rain activities will be light to moderate over East and Northeast India. On the other hand, rain and thundershowers may occur at some places in Madhya Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat region. Rain is also possible at some places in Konkan and Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

If we talk about the last 24 hours, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh received light to moderate rains (17 March 2023 Weather Update) and occasional rains. Light rains occurred in the rest of Northeast India. Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra and Kerala received light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain at one or two places.

East Gujarat, parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu and Odisha received light rain. Light rain occurred at one or two places over Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Karnataka and North Konkan and Goa. At many places in Western Himalayas, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more than normal at some places in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.
