IMD forecast predicts light to moderate rain occur in these seven states today

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicts light rain is possible at one or two places in Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka and Western Himalayan, Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours. Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala may receive moderate rain at one or two places with light rain.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department forecast predicts light rain is possible at one or two places in Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka and Western Himalayan, Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours. Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala may receive moderate rain at one or two places with light rain. Dust storms and occasional rain are possible in western parts of Rajasthan. While the maximum temperature is expected to rise in most parts of the country.

During the next 24 to 48 hours, moderate to strong surface winds may prevail over the Ganga plains of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. During the last 24 hours, western parts of Rajasthan witnessed dust storms with light rain. Along with this, light rains also occurred in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, parts of South-West Madhya Pradesh, North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha.

Talking about Uttarakhand, only a few days are left for the Chardham Yatra to start there. Along with this, the period of rain and snowfall has remained till now. According to the Meteorological Department, after April 14, there is a possibility of rapid increase in temperature, due to which the period of severe heat will start in the state. On Monday, April 10, around 10.30 am, the temperature in Dehradun was around 28 degree Celsius. It is likely to be a maximum of 30 degrees and a minimum of 17 degrees.

On April 11, the maximum temperature can rise to 32 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 18 degrees, on April 12, the maximum temperature can be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 18 degrees.

Due to the rain and snowfall in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand, the weather is currently pleasant. According to meteorology, after April 14, there is a possibility of a rapid increase in the temperature, due to which the period of scorching heat will begin. In Dehradun today, on April 12, the maximum temperature can be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 18 degrees.

While on April 16, the maximum temperature of Dehradun has been predicted to be 35 degrees and minimum 20 degrees. At the same time, the Meteorological Department said in its latest prediction that this year the monsoon will be normal in India. According to the department, about 96 percent of the rainfall may occur in the monsoon season from July to September this year. However, the possibility of less than normal rainfall has also been expressed in some areas of North East and West India, West Central India. This can affect agriculture in these areas.
