Srinagar: On Friday, an official said that two terrorists were killed after an encounter between terrorists and security forces continued for the second day in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two army personnel got injured in this incident. According to security officials two unidentified dead bodies of terrorists are lying at the operation site, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
On Thursday, The encounter began at Check Mohalla Nowpora in the Sopore area of north Kashmir. Official said that after the night’s lull, a fresh exchange of firing took place on Friday morning.
According to the officials, two terrorists have been killed so far. They added that two army personnel injured in the encounter have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Yesterday, a civilian was also injured near the encounter site. He said the operation to flush out terrorists from the area is ongoing.
