In Bengaluru, big names like N R Narayana Murthy, his wife Sudha Murty, and cricket star Rahul Dravid voted early in the Lok Sabha elections’ second phase. Narayana Murthy, even though he wasn’t feeling well, insisted on casting his vote, showing his strong will.
Talking to reporters, Narayana Murthy stressed how important it is to vote responsibly, as it only happens every five years. He asked everyone to think carefully and vote wisely.
Sudha Murty shared a sweet story. Despite Narayana Murthy being in the hospital, he wanted to vote. “We got him out of the hospital just so he could vote,” she said, showing their commitment to voting.

Sudha Murty also encouraged young people to vote. “Instead of just talking, come out and vote,” she said, explaining how important it is to share your opinion.
She asked people in Bengaluru, where fewer educated people vote, to vote more. “Even if you’re educated, you should vote,” she said.
Rahul Dravid also spoke up, saying everyone should vote, especially young people and first-time voters. He praised the election arrangements and hoped for a big turnout in Bengaluru.
Even when things are tough, Narayana Murthy’s determination to vote shows us how important it is to take part in democracy.
