IMD: Heavy rain alert in four districts of Kerala; Yellow alert for Delhi-NCR, Himachal Pradesh

Yellow alert issues in the capital
In fact, while issuing a yellow alert, the IMD said that it may rain in some areas of the capital today. Strong wind is also expected during this time. On the other hand, light rain has been predicted on Thursday as well. According to IMD, it is estimated that by May 8, the temperature of the capital will rise to a maximum of 34 and a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius.

Yatra to Kedarnath Dham stopped
Due to bad weather in Kedarnath, the yatra has been stopped till today. In fact, there is continuous snowfall here and according to IMD, there is no hope of improvement in the weather for the next few days. Let us inform that the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning regarding bad weather for the rest of the temples of Uttarakhand. It has been said that the weather will be worse till May 4. Therefore, especially the pilgrims of Kedarnath have been advised to stay where they are.

Thunderstorm and lightning for three days in Rajasthan!
At the same time, thunderstorms and lightning have been predicted in Rajasthan for the next three days. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert here. Please tell that due to the rain, the temperature of many areas has dropped.

Heavy rain alert in four districts of Kerala
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in four districts of Kerala regarding heavy rains. It includes Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts. Apart from these, warnings of yellow alert have been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Palakkad, Kollam, Alappuzha districts. Explain that the Orange Alert is issued when there is a possibility of heavy rain up to 20 cm. At the same time, it can rain up to 11 cm in Yellow Alert.

Rain alert in Himachal till May 6
It is raining in the plains and hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh. A yellow alert has been issued in many areas of the state for rains till May 6. According to media reports, 17 roads in the state have also been blocked due to rain.

Rain in many states including West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam
The IMD said that on May 2, heavy rain is expected at isolated places over Punjab, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, South-Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
