New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall to continue over Uttarakhand during next four days and over Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim during August 13-14. There will be heavy rains in Uttarakhand on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in the rest of the country during the next three-four days. Thereafter, active Monsoon conditions are likely to resume. The IMD issued an orange alert for Uttarakhand on August 12, 15, and 16 with a warning of “heavy to very heavy rainfall.”Heavy rain is expected.
According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy in Delhi today. At the same time, there may be light rain on 14 and 15 August. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36.1 degree Celsius on Saturday. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.3 degree Celsius, which is normal.
According to IMD, next 24 hours are heavy in Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert on Sunday in eight districts except Chamba, Lahul Spiti, Kullu and Kinnaur. Heavy rains since Friday night have thrown life out of gear. At the same time, such boards have been installed by the Public Works Department at many places that the road ahead is bad, drive slowly.
