IMD issues heavy rain occurs in UP-Bihar for 3 days, alert issued in Mumbai

New Delhi: Monsoon has become active in most of the states of the country. There is a warning of heavy rains to continue for the next three days in North West, Central and West India. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also told that the places where the monsoon has not arrived yet, it will arrive in the next two to three days.

New Delhi: Monsoon has become active in most of the states of the country. There is a warning of heavy rains to continue for the next three days in North West, Central and West India. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also told that the places where the monsoon has not arrived yet, it will arrive in the next two to three days.

IMD has tweeted that there may be heavy rains in Maharashtra today and on June 30. Rain activities are being seen in all the states including Delhi, UP. Intermittent rain activity is being seen in Delhi-UP since last Sunday.

According to the Skymet Weather report, today there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain with heavy to very heavy falls very likely over Northeast India, eastern parts of Bihar, parts of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

Light to moderate rains may occur over remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Marathwada, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Rajasthan. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi-NCR, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, flood situation has arisen due to rain in some states. Due to rain in Himachal and Uttarakhand people also lost their lives.
