IMD issues rain occurs in 26 states including Delhi-NCR today, IMD’s red alert in Kerala

New Delhi. It is expected to rain in Delhi-NCR today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on July 4, the sky will be generally cloudy in Delhi and there will be light rain. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi can reach up to 38 degree Celsius. On July 3, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 38.4 degree Celsius, which was 1 degree Celsius less than normal.

New Delhi. It is expected to rain in Delhi-NCR today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on July 4, the sky will be generally cloudy in Delhi and there will be light rain. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi can reach up to 38 degree Celsius.

On July 3, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 38.4 degree Celsius, which was 1 degree Celsius less than normal. According to IMD, Monsoon has reached every corner of the country ahead of schedule. IMD has predicted rain in 26 states of the country today.

According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe on July 4. IMD has issued a Red Alert regarding very heavy rains in Kerala. The IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today.

Orange Alert has been issued due to heavy rains in these areas. According to IMD, today heavy rains may occur at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep.

Along with this, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, East North Rain accompanied by lightning, strong wind (40-50 kmph) is also likely over Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and elsewhere.

According to IMD, strong wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph is very likely over west-central and adjoining parts of southwest and east-central Arabian Sea, south and adjoining central Bay of Bengal. Squally wind speed reaching 40-45 kmph gusting to 50 kmph very likely along and off Kerala-Karnataka-south Maharashtra coasts, Gulf of Mannar, Lakshadweep area, south and central Bay of Bengal along Sri Lanka coast and Andaman Sea . Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
