IMD predicts heavy rain occurs in these states including Bihar and Odisha today

New Delhi: Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have been in the grip of severe heat for a few days. People are cool from the scorching heat. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has received an update regarding the rain. This update has brought news of relief for the people of UP and Bihar. IMD has predicted heavy rains in 10 states. Bihar is also included in this. At the same time, in Delhi-NCR, the heat is going to torture more.

According to IMD, heavy rains are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at different places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on Wednesday i.e. today.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at different places in Assam and Meghalaya. On the other hand, if we talk about the country’s capital Delhi (Delhi-NCR Weather), it will be partly cloudy on Wednesday. During this, there may be drizzle or light rain.

The IMD has said in a statement that on Wednesday there will be heavy rain at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The IMD has also predicted that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (speed of 40-50 kmph) are likely to occur at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

Lightning and strong winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka, Kerala on Wednesday.

The IMD further said isolated rain over Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Coastal and South Interior Karnataka on Wednesday. There is a possibility of lightning at different places.
