IMD predicts heavy rainfall occurs in these states including Delhi for next one week

New Delhi: In Delhi-NCR, people can get a chance to enjoy the rain continuously for a week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted continuous rains in Delhi till July 1. IMD has issued Orange Alert in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Odisha due to heavy rains.

New Delhi: In Delhi-NCR, people can get a chance to enjoy the rain continuously for a week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted continuous rains in Delhi till July 1. The maximum temperature in Delhi on June 26 is likely to be only 30 degree Celsius. Today in Delhi, the sky will be generally cloudy and there will be moderate rain.

Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of just 29 degree Celsius on June 25, which was 8 degree Celsius less than normal. Delhi recorded 48.3 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. According to IMD, Monsoon has now advanced in most parts of Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon is now passing through Veraval, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Udaipur, Narnaul, Ambala and Katra. Conditions are favorable for further advance of Monsoon over Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir during next 2 days. The IMD has predicted very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa on June 26.

According to IMD today Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gujarat, Marathwada, Coastal Karnataka and heavy rain is expected at isolated places in Kerala and Mahe.

IMD has issued Orange Alert in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Odisha due to heavy rains. The EMD has predicted rain with lightning, gusty wind and thundershower at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and also over Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today
