New Delhi: In many states of the country, the weather has become pleasant due to the recent rains. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain, hailstorm and thunderstorm in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, gusty winds along with rain and hail are likely to prevail over North West India on March 23 and 24.
The Meteorological Department forecast predicts a change may be seen in Delhi’s weather on Thursday. During this time, there will be cloudy skies in the National Capital Region. Also light rain and drizzle can be seen at some places. Apart from this, similar weather will continue in Delhi-NCR on Friday too, but the rains are likely to be heavy.
According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorm and lightning in five districts of Himachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur and Bilaspur. Chances of snowfall in the higher regions of the state and rain in the lower regions have been predicted.
According to the weather department, the weather will change in some states of the country from today evening. North West India is likely to witness rain and hail from this evening. Punjab, West Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may experience hail accompanied by rain. Also the weather may change in Haryana, Chandigarh and Assam-Meghalaya and Nagaland, Tripura.
The Indian Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in most of the states of the country on March 24. Heavy rain may occur in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, West UP and East India, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and hail in Central India and East India on March 26.
