New Delhi: In the 63rd match of the Indian Premier League, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Mumbai Indians by 5 runs. Batting first after losing the toss, the Lucknow team had scored 177/3 runs in 20 overs, but chasing this target in reply, the Mumbai team could score only 172 runs.
The match became very exciting in the last overs. But the bowlers of Lucknow bowled tightly and did not give Mumbai batsmen a chance to hit. Yash Thakur and Mohsin Khan bowled well for Lucknow. Because of which the team was able to win this match. Tim David, batting brilliantly for Mumbai, played an inning of 32 runs in 19 balls. At the same time, Ishaan Kishan also played an inning of 59 runs.
Earlier, Marcus Stoinis scored the maximum 89 runs for Lucknow. Apart from him, captain Krunal Pandya played an innings of 49 runs, he retired out and returned to the pavilion. For Mumbai, Jason Behrendorff got 2 wickets and Piyush Chawla got 1 wicket.
