Jammu and Kashmir: 3 teen sisters burnt alive in fire in Ramban district

Jammu and Kashmir: On Monday, an official said that three teenage sisters were burnt to death after a fire broke out at their home in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. After receiving information about this incident, local people and police reached on the spot.

Jammu and Kashmir: On Monday, an official said that three teenage sisters were burnt to death after a fire broke out at their home in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. After receiving information about this incident, local people and police reached on the spot.

This incident happened in a remote village in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. Official added that in the early hours of the day, the three-storey house in Dhanmasta-Tajnihal village, in Ukhral block, caught fire.

Official further said that the victims were identified as Bisma (18), Saika (14) and Saniya (11). This incident happened when they were sleeping on the top floor and were unable to evacuate as the fire engulfed the entire house.

A senior police officer said that their bodies were found by personnel of the fire and emergency services. He added that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
