New Delhi: Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah and television presenter Sanjana Ganesan become parents to a baby boy. Jasprit announces this news on social media platform and posted a heartfelt message. It’s worth noting that the right-arm speedster has left India’s camp in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 and returned to Mumbai, thereby missing the Nepal clash on Monday in Kandy. Couple named his son Angad. He came back to India from Sri Lanka after the match against Pakistan. He will now go back to Sri Lanka for the Super Four matches in the Asia Cup.
Taking to his official social media, Bumrah has shared a photo, in which the hands of his wife Sanjana and son are visible, announcing that they welcomed a baby boy this morning and can’t wait to start a new chapter of their lives. Further 29-year-old wrote, “Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it.”
Bumrah made his much-awaited international comeback after suffering a long-standing back injury during the T20I series against Ireland last month. The right-arm fast bowler took two wickets in his first over in international cricket and took 4 wickets in 2 innings as India won the series 2–0.
