Kaiserganj Lok Sabha Seat: FIR against BJP candidate Karan Bhushan, accused of violating code of conduct

Gonda: Karanbhushan Singh, son of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat, has been fielded this time. An FIR has been lodged against them by the administration in Tarabganj police station for violation of the code of conduct. While Karan Bhushan has been named in the case, an unknown person has also been made an accused.

It is alleged that along with taking out the convoy of vehicles without permission, his supporters are openly flouting the Model Code of Conduct and Prohibitory Act. On Saturday, supporters had burst fireworks in the convoy at Belsar Bazaar under Tarabganj police station area. After investigation, this case has been registered on the orders of DM. District Election Officer Neha Sharma has taken serious cognizance of the Code of Conduct violation and the matter of taking out the convoy without permission.

An FIR has been lodged by Tarabganj Assembly FST in-charge Dr. Sumit Kumar at around 7:00 pm on Sunday evening. Despite the implementation of code of conduct and prohibitory orders, multi-shot crackers were burst in his convoy at Belsar intersection. Not only this, a show of strength was demonstrated by taking out convoys of dozens of vehicles without permission and the video was also shared on social media accounts.

It is noteworthy that Kaiserganj MP and former President of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been in the headlines for the last several days. This time the BJP high command did not give ticket to Brij Bhushan, who was surrounded by allegations of sexual exploitation of wrestlers. His son Karan Bhushan Singh has been fielded in his place.

It is alleged that the image and influence of father Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is being used as glamor in Kaiserganj Lok Sabha Constituency. Convoys of dozens of vehicles are being taken out without permission. It is alleged that instead of stopping the police administration, it has become a mute spectator. Receptions and programs have been organized at many places without permission.

A case has been registered in the matter after the District Election Officer took cognizance. According to Inspector Samsher Bahadur Singh, Sub Inspector Sunil Kumar Tiwari will investigate the matter. We are investigating by registering a case under the sections of Code of Conduct Violation.

Legal action will be taken after the case: CO

Tarabganj Circle Police Officer Saurabh Verma has confirmed that the case has been filed. He said that a report has been lodged in Tarabganj police station against the BJP candidate from Kaiserganj, Karan Bhushan Singh, for taking out the convoy without permission and bursting a series of firecrackers during the welcome, under sections of violation of model code of conduct. Further legal action is being taken.

The convoy was running without permission in the style of Brij Bhushan
In the style of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, MP from Gonda, Balrampur and Kaiserganj for 30 years and former president of WFI for 12 years, BJP candidate and his son Karan Bhushan Singh and his supporters are constantly posing a challenge to the administration. Recently, the administration had registered a case of Code of Conduct Violation against Kaiserganj MP Brij Bhushan Singh in Khargupur police station.

BJP candidate Karan Bhushan Singh and his supporters have been continuously violating the code of conduct and prohibitory order law. After taking cognizance of the higher officials, no action has been taken till now.

Code of conduct is being openly flouted in Kaiserganj

Even if the administration has set up a single window and made arrangements to obtain permission for holding meetings and election campaigns. But no permission is being taken from any political party for meetings and vehicles. BJP had taken permission for the meeting on 14 April Ambedkar Jayanti. Similarly, permission was taken from SP on April 19. If after this no permission has been taken from the single window. In such a situation, the administration is remaining unaware of the programs and meetings of political parties, while the police administration remains a spectator.
