Karnataka: 23-year-old student acid thrown on 3 schoolgirls entering exam hall, arrested

Karnataka: On Monday, an official said that acid was thrown on three girls in Mangaluru, Karnataka while they were entering the school hall. The victims belong to secondary PUC students, who sustained serious injuries to their faces.

Karnataka: On Monday, an official said that acid was thrown on three girls in Mangaluru, Karnataka while they were entering the school hall. The victims belong to secondary PUC students, who sustained serious injuries to their faces. All of them sustained serious injuries to their faces.

According to the information, the incident occurred in Kadaba taluk in Dakshin Kannada. Police said that the accused was identified as ‘Abeen’, a 23-year-old student from Kerala. The attack, allegedly motivated by love failure, was carried out by a 23-year-old MBA student from Kerala. He has been arrested by the Kadaba Police.

About this incident, police said that they were preparing for their exams sitting on the school balcony. The accused, wearing a mask and a hat, threw the substance at them as they were proceeding towards the examination hall. Pre-university education stands for classes 11 and 12 in Karnataka.

The victim of the attack, a 17-year-old student enrolled in the second year of the science department at Government Undergraduate College, Kadaba, was specifically targeted by Abhin. The three schoolgirls are currently undergoing treatment at a government hospital and are ready to be transferred to Mangaluru for further care.
