Ghaziabad: Contaminated water has become a cause of trouble for the people in the high rise society of Ghaziabad. The residents alleged that more than 200 people including children fell ill due to the use of this contaminated water, the health department team is present on the spot after receiving information about the matter. In fact, people living in Saya Gold Avenue Society of Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad have alleged that the water of the society has been contaminated.
On receiving this information, people from the health department are camping on the spot. People living here allege that water consumption is more in summer, hence more people fall ill due to water contamination. People living here are complaining of vomiting and stomach upset. BS Rathore, living in Saya Gold Avenue Society of Police Station Indirapuram, says that this society is 40 storeyed. There are 1620 flats here, out of which about 1000 families are living here. People living here allege that there is a problem with water for the last 7 days.
Due to this, someone in almost every tower and every flat has fallen ill. BS Rathore claims that more than 500 people living in this society are ill. People are complaining of vomiting and stomach upset. When this information was given to the Health Department, the Health Department team camped on the spot and is monitoring the people. People alleged that this condition of the people living here has happened due to the negligence of the builder.
Ghaziabad’s Chief Medical Officer Bhavtosh Shankhadhar said that a team has been sent on information. The team is investigating all the people. After everyone is examined, it will be known how many people are sick and what problems they are facing.
