Gone are the days of waiting in long queues and facing unnecessary hassles for medical reports. The Uttar Pradesh government has rolled out a groundbreaking initiative to deliver blood and urine test reports directly to patients’ mobile phones.
Patients no longer need to visit hospitals to collect their test reports. With this new system, blood test reports are sent directly to their mobile phones via SMS.
This innovative facility is currently operational in 75 government hospitals across Uttar Pradesh, benefiting a vast number of patients.
Upon completion of the tests, patients or their attendants receive a notification on their registered mobile numbers, informing them that the report is ready. They can then easily download the report using the link provided in the SMS.
Principal Secretary of Medical and Health, Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma, emphasized that this initiative aims to streamline the healthcare experience for patients, allowing them to access their reports from the comfort of their homes.
By eliminating the need for physical visits to collect reports, this system reduces the burden on patients and minimizes wait times at hospitals, enhancing overall efficiency.
The introduction of mobile-based reporting signifies a significant step towards digitizing healthcare services in Uttar Pradesh, promising greater accessibility and convenience for patients.
