Maharashtra: All 36 passengers evacuated safely after private bus catches fire on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Mumbai: On Saturday, A private bus carrying 36 passengers caught fire on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Maharashtra's Vadgaon. After receiving information about this incident local police and fire tenders reached on the spot.

Mumbai: On Saturday, A private bus carrying 36 passengers caught fire on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Maharashtra’s Vadgaon. After receiving information about this incident local police and fire tenders reached on the spot.

All the passengers were evacuated in time and there is no report of any casualty. Meanwhile, fire brigade is trying to extinguish the fire in the bus. Flames are coming out of the window of the bus.

In an another incident,The forest fire in Uttarakhand has worsened further as it has now reached the High Court Colony in Nainital. The administration has called on the forest department and Indian Army to help douse the wildfire.

So far, the fire has destroyed 33.34 hectares of forest land within 24 hours and around 31 new incidents of forest fire have been reported from different parts of the state.
