Maharashtra: Luxury car gutted in fire, 2 occupants escape unhurt in Thane city

New Delhi: On Saturday morning, Two persons traveling in an expensive car in Maharashtra’s Thane city had a narrow escape when their vehicle caught fire and gutted it completely. According to the information, the civic officer said that the incident took place in Manpada area of ​​the city at around 7.15 am.

Giving information about the incident, Yasin Tadvi, head of Thane Municipal Corporation Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) said that the car was on its way to the lobby of a building when it suddenly caught fire. The two occupants of the vehicle managed to get out of it in time. Both are safe now.

Immediately after receiving the information of the fire, the fire brigade and RDMC personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control in time. However, during that time the car was completely burnt to ashes. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.

Earlier, on August 16, a massive fire broke out in an apartment in Thane itself. According to the Thane Municipal Corporation, four fire engines were informed to douse the fire. It is noteworthy that a furniture factory in Ulhasnagar also caught fire.

Yasin Tadvi, head of TMC’s disaster management cell, said the fire broke out at the factory in Ulhasnagar camp number 3 around 2.30 pm and seven fire tenders were involved in dousing the blaze.
