A raging inferno engulfed a warehouse in the Khoda area of Ghaziabad on Saturday morning, triggering a massive firefighting operation to contain the blaze and prevent further devastation.
Images from the scene depict a sprawling blaze, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky, shrouding the entire locality. Nearby residential buildings stand perilously close to the inferno, heightening concerns about the safety of the surrounding area.
Promptly responding to the emergency, Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal confirmed that firefighting teams were dispatched upon receiving reports of the fire at a godown in Khoda Colony. The cause of the fire remains unknown as efforts intensify to bring the situation under control.
The magnitude of the fire necessitated a coordinated response, with multiple fire brigade teams mobilized from various stations across Ghaziabad. Three teams from Vaishali, two from Sahibabad, and three from Kotwali stations swiftly converged on the scene. Additionally, reinforcements from the Noida Sector 58 fire station were summoned to bolster the firefighting efforts.
Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal reassured the public, stating that no casualties have been reported thus far. Despite the formidable challenge posed by the blaze, firefighting operations continue unabated as authorities work tirelessly to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage.
