New Delhi: In the 54th match of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. Chasing the target of 200 runs, they won the match in the 17th over itself. Mumbai continued the stormy batting and thrashed the RCB bowlers fiercely. First, Ishaan Kishan gave Mumbai a blistering start and scored 42 runs in 21 balls.
After this came the storm of Suryakumar Yadav, who snatched the match from Bangalore while playing a tremendous innings of 83 runs in 35 balls. Surya hit 7 fours and 6 sixes in his innings of 83 runs. Vanindu Hasaranga and Vijay Kumar Vaishak took 2-2 wickets from Bangalore side.
Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 200/6 runs in 20 overs. Glenn Maxwell scored the highest 68 runs for Bangalore, while captain Faf du Plessis scored an inning of 65 runs. Virat Kohli could not do anything special and got out after scoring 1 run. On the other hand, Jason Behrendorff took the maximum 3 wickets from Mumbai.
