Following the demise of gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari, a postmortem report has conclusively determined that he died of a heart attack, dismissing the family’s claims of foul play. Ansari, a former MLA with a history of legal entanglements, passed away Thursday night after experiencing a cardiac arrest while incarcerated in the district jail of Banda, Uttar Pradesh.
The autopsy, conducted by a panel of five doctors, confirmed that Mukhtar Ansari succumbed to a heart attack (myocardial infarction), refuting allegations of “slow poisoning” made by his family. The conclusive findings provide clarity regarding the cause of Ansari’s untimely demise, laying to rest speculations surrounding his death.
Despite assertions from Ansari’s family suggesting suspicions of foul play, the postmortem report has dispelled any doubts regarding the circumstances leading to his death. Umar Ansari, Mukhtar Ansari’s younger son, was present during the post-mortem examination conducted at the Rani Durgavati Medical College.
Following the completion of the post-mortem procedure, Ansari’s body was transported from Banda to his home district of Ghazipur for burial. The journey, spanning approximately 400 kilometers through various districts of Uttar Pradesh, was accompanied by a convoy of vehicles, including police escorts.
