Mumbai: On Wednesday in afternoon, A major fire broke out at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus railway station in Kurla of Mumbai. According to the information, the blaze also engulfed the booking and waiting halls of the station.

Mumbai: On Wednesday in afternoon, A major fire broke out at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus railway station in Kurla of Mumbai. According to the information, the blaze also engulfed the booking and waiting halls of the station.

The officials said passengers were evacuated from the station and two vehicles of the fire brigade rushed to the spot to douse the flame. The blaze was so massive that a huge black cloud of smoke was seen in the visuals that surfaced on the internet.

On social media, a video of the purported fire incident was circulated , in which black smoke rising above the roof of the railway station could be seen. A Central Railway official said that the blaze erupted in the Jan Aahar canteen on platform number 1 of the LTT station at 2.45 pm.

According to reports, the fire erupted in the pantry car of a train stationed at platform no 1 of the busy terminus. However, No one died or got injured in the incident, they added.
