Nagpur: National Cancer Institute inaugurated; RSS chief, Nitin Gadkari, Adani present

On the occasion of the inauguration of the National Cancer Institute in Nagpur, State Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that my father died of cancer when I was young. Then I saw a lot of pressure on the Tata Cancer Institute in Mumbai.

Nagpur: National Cancer Institute was inaugurated in Jamtha, Nagpur. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat announced the formal inauguration of the hospital. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Industrialist Gautam Adani and others were present on the occasion of the inauguration of the hospital.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also did a complete inspection of the hospital. A large population will be benefited by the opening of this cancer hospital opened in the region of Vidarbha. In this hospital, it was said that the latest technology used for the treatment of cancer should be used.

Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the people said that there is a lot of difference between dreaming and fulfilling it. But if the resolution is firm, it is completed and if it is done by forming a team, it will be completed soon. It feels very good when Sangh Swayamsevaks do such work.

Bhagwat said that the Sangh is standing behind this project. But it is good to have Dr. Abaji Thatte’s picture here. Dr. Abaji Thatte created a bond of affection in many families across India. He said that this intimacy and familiarity is important because it makes a person worry about others. He said that it is the endeavor of this hospital that the best treatment is available here. The poor will be served here. Will get excellent treatment.

He said that the team is doing a good job and it should continue like this in the future. He said that the mind with which this hospital has been built will continue in the future as well. Bhagwat said that such efforts should be made by the society and work should be done keeping in mind those for whom the work is being done.

More than 5,000 people were present at the ceremony, where Mr Joglekar reiterated the institute’s goal of creating a patient-friendly environment. “From Day 1 we had decided that NCI should not look like a hospital, smell like a hospital and feel like a hospital,” he said.

Mr Fadnavis, credited by the institute for envisioning the project during his tenure as Chief Minister, praised the institute for its services and affordability.

The NCI is located at Jamtha on Wardha Road, about 20 km from Nagpur city.
