The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a big breakthrough in the case of Praveen Nettaru’s murder. They arrested Mustafa Paichar, the main suspect, from his hiding place in Karnataka.

NIA Arrests Mustafa Paichar. Nettaru, a BJP worker, was attacked and killed by two people in July 2022 in Bellare village, allegedly by members of the Popular Front of India (PFI). Initially, the local police handled the case, but later it was handed over to the NIA for further investigation.

The NIA filed charges against 20 people in January 2023. They found that Nettaru’s murder was part of the PFI’s plan to create fear and tension between communities. They discovered that the PFI had secret groups for targeted killings to achieve their goal of Islamic rule by 2047.

In October last year, the NIA offered rewards for information leading to the arrest of three suspects linked to the case, all members of the Popular Front of India.

A total of 21 people have been charged by the NIA under different laws, including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Arms Act. The NIA’s investigation showed that the PFI is involved in hate crimes to spread communal tension and promote their agenda of Islamic rule in India by 2047.

The government declared the PFI an “unlawful association” in September 2022, banning it for five years under the UAPA act, showing how serious the situation is.
