New Delhi: Airline company SpiceJet is celebrating its 18th anniversary, celebrating which SpiceJet has increased the salary of its pilots. In a release issued on Tuesday, SpiceJet said that the salary of a captain has been increased to Rs 7.5 lakh per month for 75 hours of flight. The new revised salary will be applicable from May 16, 2023. The airline had earlier increased the salary of its pilots in November 2022.
SpiceJet informed that apart from pilots, the salaries of trainers (DE, TRI) and first officers have also been increased in the same proportion. Additionally, the airline has announced a tenure linked monthly loyalty award of up to Rs.1,00,000/- per month for its captains which will be in addition to their monthly remuneration.
Earlier in November 2022, the airline had revised the salary of its pilots, in which the salary was increased to Rs 7 lakh per month for 80 hours of flight. SpiceJet operates around 250 daily flights (within India and international) to 48 destinations.
SpiceJet with cool offers
On its 18th anniversary, SpiceJet has brought cool offers for its customers. In this, passengers are getting a chance to book flight for only Rs.1818. This special offer of SpiceJet is for regular passengers. The airline has announced a special sale for one-way domestic fare from Rs.1818 only. This offer is exclusively for routes like Bengaluru-Goa and Mumbai-Goa. Passengers can take advantage of the sale from May 23 to May 28. To travel, you can book flights under the offer from July 1 to March 30, 2024.
Passengers can also avail additional benefits while booking tickets through SpiceJet’s m-site or mobile app. SpiceJet is giving free flight vouchers up to Rs 3000 to those passengers who have turned 18 in the year 2023 or are going to be. In this sale offer, passengers can book their favorite seats at flat Rs.18 and get 50% off at SpiceMax.
