IMD warns of Cyclonic storm ‘Michaung’ as it likely to form into depression over Bay of Bengal in next 48 hours

Cyclonic storm "Michaung" is likely to develop as the low pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjacent Andaman Sea will gradually turn into a depression and the wind system will likely move in a west-northwest direction by November 30. After strengthening of the system, 'Michaung' is expected to move towards south-west and adjoining south-east Bay of Bengal within the next 48 hours.

On Tuesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is on a one-day visit to Jammu at a BRO's event in Samba district where he launched a total of 90 infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,941 crore.
