Maharashtra: Around 300 individuals, including children and women, suffered from food poisoning after consuming food at a religious event in Maharashtra’s Buldhana. The incident occurred on the final day of a week-long religious gathering.
Patients Treated on Roads Outside Maharashtra Hospital. Due to the sheer number of affected people, approximately 300, they were taken to a local hospital. However, a shortage of beds compelled authorities to treat many patients on the roads outside the medical facility.
Disturbing visuals depict the makeshift arrangement with saline bottles hooked to trees through ropes, as hundreds of patients lay on the ground for treatment. The gravity of the situation is underscored by reports that around 30 individuals are in critical condition.
Villagers lamented the lack of immediate medical attention upon reaching the hospital, stating that no doctors were present. In response, they had to summon private doctors to address the urgent medical needs of the affected individuals.
