PM Modi congratulated on the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched Chandrayaan-3 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh today at 02.35 pm. With the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, India created a new record in front of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted and congratulated ISRO and its scientists for this achievement of India.

PM Modi tweeted, ‘Chandrayaan-3 wrote a new chapter in India’s space journey. It soars high lifting the dreams and ambitions of every Indian. This significant achievement is a testimony to the tireless dedication of our scientists. I salute his spirit and talent.

Along with this, President Draupadi Murmu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, BJP President JP Nadda and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also extended their best wishes.

ISRO said that the LVM-M4 rocket has successfully entered the Earth’s orbit carrying Chandrayaan-3. After this, Chandrayaan-3 separated from the launch rocket and started its journey to the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 will take about 50 days to land on the surface of the Moon. According to ISRO, it can land on the lunar surface by 23 or 24 August.
