Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to boost infrastructure and connectivity as he visits Gurugram today. The focal point of his visit is the inauguration of the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway, a significant step to alleviate traffic congestion between Delhi and Gurugram on NH-48.

In a pivotal move to enhance transportation and alleviate congestion along NH-48, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Haryana section of the iconic Dwarka Expressway. The 19 km long, 8-lane expressway, constructed at an approximate cost of Rs 4,100 crore, encompasses two crucial packages: the 10.2 km Delhi-Haryana Border to Basai Rail-over-Bridge (ROB) and the 8.7 km Basai ROB to Kherki Daula. This development aims to streamline traffic flow and provide direct connectivity to the IGI Airport in Delhi and Gurugram Bypass.

PM Modi to Inaugurate Dwarka Expressway. Scheduled for around 12 noon today, the Prime Minister’s visit to Gurugram includes participation in a public gathering. Alongside the Dwarka Expressway inauguration, he is poised to lay the foundation stone for 112 National Highway projects across the country, collectively valued at approximately Rs 1 lakh crore.

Among the major projects slated for inauguration are the 9.6 km long six-lane Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II)- Package 3 in Delhi, three packages of Lucknow Ring Road in Uttar Pradesh, and the Anandapuram – Pendurthi – Anakapalli section of NH16 in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, projects like Kiratpur to Nerchowk section of NH-21 in Himachal Pradesh, Dobaspet – Heskote section in Karnataka, and 42 others across different states, totaling Rs 20,500 crores, are part of the comprehensive development agenda.

PM Modi to Launch National Highway Projects. In addition to inaugurating these projects, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for various National Highway ventures. Key highlights include the Bengaluru – Kadappa – Vijayawada Expressway in Andhra Pradesh, Belgaum – Hungund – Raichur Section of NH-748A in Karnataka, Shamli – Ambala Highway in Haryana, Amritsar – Bathinda corridor in Punjab, and 39 other projects worth Rs. 32,700 crores across the country. This multi-faceted initiative underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering national infrastructure and fostering economic growth.
