PM Modi Kerala Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country's first water metro in Kochi today. Apart from this, Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station.
Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects in Kerala today. PM Modi will hand over the country’s first water metro in Kochi today. PM Modi will flag off Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station at around 10.30 am.
After this, at 11 am, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 3200 crore at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram and dedicate it to the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Namo Institute of Medical Education and Research at 4 pm.
Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday termed the Kochi Water Metro as a “dream project” of the state that would accelerate the growth and development of Kochi.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 4850 crore in Dadar and Nagar Haveli Silvassa at around 4.30 pm and dedicate it to the nation. PM Modi will hold a roadshow in Daman at 6.10 pm.
After this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Devka Seafront in Daman at 6.30 pm. Please tell that PM Modi has reached Kerala on a two-day tour since Monday. On Monday, PM Modi met the priests of different churches in Kerala. PM Modi also did a roadshow in Kochi. He also targeted the ruling CPI(M) and the opposition Congress, the two main parties of the state, on different issues.
PM Modi was accorded a rousing welcome when he arrived here on a two-day visit as thousands of people, including BJP workers and supporters lined up on both sides of the nearly two kilometer long route of his roadshow from the INS Garuda naval base. PM Modi started the roadshow on foot wearing the traditional Kerala dress, Kasavu Mundu, a shawl and a kurta, and greeted people standing on both sides of the road with folded hands. Hundreds of policemen should be deployed under PM Modi’s security.
