Nashik: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a grand roadshow in Nashik, Maharashtra, setting the stage for the upcoming inauguration of the National Youth Festival. After the roadshow, PM Modi, along with the political dignitaries, visited Shree Kalaram Mandir to offer prayers. Continuing his spiritual journey, PM Modi visited Ramkund on the banks of the Godavari river. During the visit, he was honored with a traditional ‘pagdi’ or turban. The Prime Minister actively participated in ‘Jal Pujan’ and performed ‘aarti,’ embracing the sacred rituals at this revered location.
Later in the day, PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate Atal Setu, India’s longest sea bridge, in Mumbai. The bridge, constructed at a cost exceeding ₹ 17,840 crore, marks a significant infrastructural achievement.
Continuing his Nashik sojourn, PM Modi visited the serene Ramkund along the Godavari river. Amidst the picturesque backdrop, he received a traditional ‘pagdi’ or turban as a mark of respect. The Prime Minister further enriched his spiritual journey by performing ‘Jal Pujan’ and participating in the ‘aarti’ ceremony, resonating with the cultural ethos of the region.
