During the virtual ceremony, PM Modi will not only flag off the new trains but also inaugurate completed sections of railway line doubling projects and other infrastructure developments. These initiatives aim to enhance train connectivity and contribute to the overall development of the region.

In addition, the Prime Minister will dedicate ‘One Station, One Product’ stalls to the nation, supporting the ‘Vocal for Local’ vision. Divisional Railway Manager (Waltair Division) Saurabh Prasad highlighted that one of the new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar, while the other will operate between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

The launch of these trains contributes to the growing network of Vande Bharat Express services, currently numbering 41 across Indian Railways. Covering 24 states and 256 districts with Broad Gauge electrified networks, these trains facilitate efficient and modern rail travel.

Moreover, the Ministry of Railways’ ‘One Station, One Product’ (OSOP) scheme, launched to promote the ‘Vocal for Local’ vision, aims to create additional income opportunities for marginalized sections of society. By providing sale outlets for local artisans, potters, weavers, handloom weavers, and craftsmen at railway stations nationwide, the scheme supports livelihoods and fosters economic growth.
