In a devastating incident in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, three individuals lost their lives, and at least ten others sustained injuries in a collision between a bus and a truck. The tragic accident occurred in Mukerian city around 6 am on Wednesday, impacting a bus filled with around 20 police personnel on their way from Jalandhar to Gurdaspur.

Punjab: Bus Carrying Police Personnel Crashes with Truck. Mukerian Police Station Incharge, Joginder Singh, provided details about the incident, stating that the bus collided with a trailer on the roadside. The casualties include the driver, a lady constable, and another policeman, with 3 to 4 additional policemen reported as injured. Singh mentioned, “A bus full of 15-20 policemen was going from Jalandhar PAP centre to Gurdaspur.”
