The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is elevating the tourism experience for pilgrims visiting Ayodhya, including Ram Janmabhoomi and temples. Starting January 15, the government will introduce 100 electric buses on the ‘Dharma Path’ and ‘Ram Path’, accompanied by golf carts and e-rickshaws. This strategic move is designed to seamlessly connect key destinations and enhance the overall visitor experience, with a focus on crowd management, worship, darshan, and temporary parking.

The government’s preparations, in line with state directives, include the construction of corridors, designated parking spaces, and development from Saket Petrol Pump to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk. New parking lots covering 70 acres on the Chaudah Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama routes aim to accommodate the surge in visitors.
Ram Path and Dharma Path, two of the four main paths in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, are pivotal to this initiative. The comprehensive transportation plan, featuring electric buses and other eco-friendly modes, aligns with the government’s commitment to providing efficient facilities for tourists and pilgrims.
UP Government Boosts Tourism with Electric Buses in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple’s sanctum-sanctorum on January 22 holds immense significance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend this event, organized by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust. Ayodhya’s Amrit Mahautsav, from January 14 to January 22, further adds to the spiritual, historical, and cultural significance of the region.
