Hyderabad: Big blow to Telugu film industry, Veteran actor and director of Telugu cinema K. Vishwanath (Kasinadhuni Viswanath) has said goodbye to this world. K Viswanath breathed his last at the age of 92. K Vishwanath was 92 years old and was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the year 2016. After the death of K Vishwanath, fans and stars are paying tribute to him on social media.

K Vishwanath, who was suffering from age related ailments, breathed his last in Hyderabad on Thursday night. Viswanath’s career as a director started in the year 1965 with the film Govaram. At the same time, the list of his big films would be incomplete without Shankarabharanam, Swathinuthyam, Sagar Sangamam and Swayamkrishi. The last directorial venture of K Vishwanath, who directed many big and best films, was ‘Subhapradham’ released in 2010.

K Vishwanath was a director as well as a fine actor and worked in many films like ‘Kaalisundaram Ra’, ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Tagore’ and ‘Mr Perfect’. K Vishwanath has won several awards for his stellar work, including five National Film Awards, as well as the state Nandi Award, 10 Filmfare Awards South and a Filmfare Award in Hindi. Along with this, in the year 1992, K Vishwanath also received the Andhra Pradesh State Raghupathi Venkaiah Award and a civilian honor post for his contribution in the field of arts.
