Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is currently embarked on a significant tour across Madhya Pradesh. During his visit, he paid homage to the revered Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Khandwa district on Friday, April 5th, as part of his pre-Lok Sabha election tour.

Dr. Mohan Bhagwat’s journey holds strategic importance, coinciding with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. While BJP’s headquarters buzz with meetings and preparations, RSS is also actively gearing up. As part of these preparations, Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS chief, is traversing through Madhya Pradesh.

During his visit, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat sought blessings at the sacred Omkareshwar-Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga and offered prayers to Mother Narmada. Additionally, he took a moment to observe the statue of Adiguru Shankaracharya, signifying the spiritual essence of his tour.

This week-long tour of Madhya Pradesh by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat commenced with his arrival in the Malwa Nimar region via Amarkantak and Narmadapuram. A key highlight of his itinerary was the meeting with saints and spiritual leaders at Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. Moreover, discussions with officials included updates on the Shankaracharya statue project.

Continuing his journey, Mohan Bhagwat embarked on a two-day visit to Khandwa, where he personally visited Ekatm Dham on Omkar Mountain. Here, he paid respects to the towering 108 feet high statue of Adiguru Shankaracharya, accompanied by Bhaiyyaji Joshi. The warm welcome extended by Omkareshwar Temple Trust Manager Trustee Rao Devendra Singh and Trustee Jang Bahadur Singh added to the significance of his visit.

Following engagements in Khandwa, Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to proceed to Indore after concluding meetings with Central Province officials. This comprehensive tour underscores the spiritual and strategic dimensions of Mohan Bhagwat’s presence in Madhya Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
