Mumbai : In a significant breakthrough in the Salman Khan firing case, the Mumbai crime branch has confiscated the motorbike used by the shooters outside the actor’s residence. The seizure comes after the arrest of two suspects involved in the incident, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who were apprehended in Gujarat’s Bhuj.
The motorbike, a second-hand vehicle registered in Mumbai’s Panvel in 2011, was left near Mount Mary Church in Bandra by the accused following the firing at Salman Khan’s house. The Mumbai crime branch has now obtained the bike with the number plate MH 46 R 4799.
Before the firing, the shooters conducted a reconnaissance on foot near Galaxy Apartment, approximately 100 meters away. Upon observing the absence of police security outside Salman Khan’s residence, they returned on the bike and carried out the attack before fleeing the scene. Reports indicate that there was no police jeep stationed outside the society gate during the incident.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, visited Galaxy Apartment to meet Salman Khan, as per recent images released. The meeting included a gathering with veteran writer-lyricist Salim Khan.
Salman Khan was spotted leaving his residence amidst heightened security measures, as evidenced by a video circulating on social media. The footage captured a convoy of police vehicles escorting Khan’s car, with officers patrolling the vicinity.
The seizure of the motorbike marks a significant step forward in the ongoing investigation into the Salman Khan firing case, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
