In a tragic turn of events, Nazreen, the wife of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and property dealer Jahir Salmani, was fatally shot by an assailant in their residence in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh.
Nazreen, who was 38 years old and Jahir Salmani’s second wife, was alone at home when the attacker came in and shot her three times, twice in the head and once in the chest. She was taken to Devnandini Hospital but was declared dead when she arrived.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Verma, along with a team of investigators and forensic experts, began looking into the matter as soon as they heard about it. They have taken Nazreen’s body for examination to find out more about what happened.
Initial information suggests that Jahir Salmani was in Meerut for work when the shooting occurred and didn’t know about it until he came back. The police are working hard to find the person responsible for this terrible act.
SP Abhishek Verma promised to do everything possible to catch the culprit.
