Switzerland: A plane crashed in Switzerland on Saturday (May 20), killing three people on board. According to media reports, the accident happened in the wooded, mountainous area of western Switzerland when a tourist plane was taking off with tourists.
Police has confirmed this incident. Police said that investigation is on to find out the real cause of the accident. “The pilot and the two passengers died on site,” the Neuchâtel police said in a statement, without providing further details about the victims.
Confirming the incident, the local police said that there was a plane crash in Ponts-de-Martel near the Franco-Swiss border. After the information of the accident, the people of the relief and rescue team reached the spot and helped.
Police said that due to the mountains, there was a lot of difficulty in carrying out relief and rescue work. Bodies of some people were found lying outside the crashed plane and some were taken out of the cockpit.
According to the police, the reasons for the accident have not been revealed yet, a high-level investigation is being done to find out the reasons. Soon the number of dead will be disclosed.
