The earthquake hit Chamba at 9:34 pm, at the depth of 10 km, said National Center for Seismology. Mild tremors were also felt in Chandigarh and parts of Punjab and Haryana. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km in Chamba district, officials of the meteorological department in Shimla said.
