Telangana: An official said that three people, including a police Sub Inspector, killed after their car collided with a tree in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana on Wednesday. The incident happened on the national highway near Annasagar in Bhoothpur mandal.
They added that the deceased of this accident are identified as Venkataramana (57), a Sub-Inspector from Nandyala District, his son-in-law Pawan Sai (25), and the driver Chandra (23).
Official futher said that Anusha, daughter of SI Venkataramana, who was also in the car, sustained severe injuries and has been hospitalised at Mahabubnagar Government Hospital for treatment.
According to the information, the accident occurred just a few days after Anusha and Pawan Sai got married on February 15. The family was traveling from Hyderabad to Anantapur, where they had attended a dinner at Pawan Sai’s residence.
When they reached Annasagar area, their Maruti Swift Dezire collided with a tree on the roadside. After the incident, Police have initiated an investigation into the accident. The cause of the accident is yet to be identified.
