Telangana elections 2023: BJP releases first list of 52 candidates for upcoming polls

Telangana: Bharatiya Janata Party has released its first list of candidates for Telangana. The party has announced a total of 52 candidates in the first list. The party has nominated three BJP MPs. Bandi Sanjay Kumar from Karimnagar has been ticketed.

Telangana: On Sunday, The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its first list of candidates for Telangana. The party has announced a total of 52 candidates in the first list. The party has nominated three BJP MPs. Bandi Sanjay Kumar from Karimnagar has been ticketed.

Apart from this, Etala Rajender has been nominated from two seats in which he will contest from Hujurabad and Gajwel. The party has also fielded 12 women candidates.

At the same time, the suspension of Raja Singh, the current MLA from Goshamahl, has been canceled and he has again been made a candidate from the same seat. BJP has fielded Rani Rudrama Reddy from Sirsila seat against Telangana IT minister and CM KCR’s son KTR.

BJP has fielded East Pradesh president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar from Karimnagar, Soyam Bapu MP from Both and Arvind Dharmapuri MP from Korutla. Earlier, the BJP had tried the same in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and failed to field many sitting MPs. At the same time, BJP MLA Rajender Gajvel will contest against CM KCR from Etala seat.

Let us tell you that there are total 119 seats in Telangana. The ruling BRS has yet to announce its 115 candidates. CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will contest from two seats Gajvel and Kamareddy, currently he is MLA from Gajvel. At the same time, the Congress has released its first list of 55 candidates for the Telangana assembly elections, which includes the names of the party’s state unit president A Revanth Reddy and MLA leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramark and some other senior leaders.
