Today the countrymen are going to get the gift of five Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. In this connection, PM Modi is on a tour of Madhya Pradesh today. PM Modi will flag off five Vande Bharat trains from Rani Kamlapati station. During this, apart from the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, PM Modi will virtually flag off the remaining four trains. This is the first time that five semi high speed trains are being started in a single day. With this, there will be a total of 23 Vande Bharat trains in the country.
Let us tell here that on June 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the new Vande Bharat Express train running between Bhopal to Indore and Bhopal to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. Including these, the number of Vande Bharat Express trains running from Madhya Pradesh will be 3. PM Modi has already flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train running between Bhopal to Delhi on 1 April. The Vande Bharat train running between Indore-Bhopal has been extended up to Khajuraho.
Explain that the five trains that the Prime Minister will flag off are Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and Hatia-Patna. Vande Bharat Express is included.
1.Bhopal Indore Vande Bharat Express
Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will connect Malwa region (Indore) and Bundelkhand region (Khajuraho) with Central region (Bhopal) thereby improving connectivity of both the regions. This will benefit important tourist places like Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, Panna. This train will be about 2.30 hours faster than the fastest train on this route.
2.Madgaon Mumbai Vande Bharat Express
Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express of Goa. It will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa. It will help save travel time of about an hour as compared to the current fastest train connecting the two places.
3.Bengaluru-Hubli-Dharwad Vande Bharat
Two semi high speed trains will start operating in Karnataka with Vande Bharat connecting Bengaluru, Hubli and Dharwad. The train will be operated in South Western Railway. It is expected to stop at Yeshvantpur, Davanagere and Hubli stations. In addition, the travel time between Hubli and Dharwad by train is expected to reduce from 7 hours to around 5 hours.
4.Bhopal Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express
Rani Kamlapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will connect Mahakaushal region (Jabalpur) to Central region (Bhopal) of Madhya Pradesh. With this, movement towards tourist places like Bhedaghat, Panchmarhi, Satpura etc. will be easy. This train will be about 30 minutes faster than the existing fastest train on this route.
5.Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express
Bihar will get the first Vande Bharat train as a train connecting Patna and Ranchi. The train is expected to have stoppages at Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath and Bokaro Steel City. This train will cover a distance of about 410 km.
