A senior New Delhi police official said that 2.5 to 3000 policemen would be deployed for the security of the inauguration programme. Of these, 50 percent are women policemen. Police personnel deployed in security have been strictly instructed not to allow anyone to go near the inauguration program or the new Parliament House. Only invited guests, MPs, Chief Ministers and Governors of states will be allowed to participate in the programme.
If women and farmers reach near the new Parliament House to hold Mahila Panchayat, they should be taken to Jantar Mantar, where the protest is going on. If women do not go to Jantar Mantar, they will be taken into custody.
