Union Minister Nitin Gadkari visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirupati with his family

Nitin Gadkari Visits Tirupati Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari along with his family members offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple here on Thursday morning. He had darshan in the early hours of the day along with his family members.

Nitin Gadkari Visits Tirupati: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari along with his family members offered prayers at Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple here on Thursday morning. He had darshan in the early hours of the day along with his family members.

Gadkari also participated in the ‘Thomla Seva’ at the temple along with his family. “Thomala” means garland of flowers. This is the service in which Lord Venkateswara is decorated with all kinds of flowers.

Talking to media persons outside the Tirumala temple, he said that he had the privilege of having darshan with his family.

He said, “I prayed to Lord Sri Venkateswara to give me more strength to serve the people of my country. With the blessings of Sri Venkateswara, the country will soon emerge as the biggest powerful nation.”

Earlier, he was accompanied by TTD Trust Board Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy were also present. After the darshan Vedasirvachanam was offered by the Vedic pundits. Later, the Speaker presented him with Teertha Prasadam, a picture of Srivaru.

Launched nationwide campaign to plant trees

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday launched a nationwide campaign to plant trees along national highways after planting a sapling at Kothapalem in Renigunta mandal. He called upon people to come forward and participate in the program for a lasting and long-lasting impact of the tree plantation drive.
