UP: 1 dead and 10 injured in clash between 2 groups in Barabanki

New Delhi: One person was killed and 10 others were seriously injured in a bloody clash between two parties over a dispute over dumping of garbage in a village under Kothi police station area of ​​Barabanki district. The police gave this information on Friday.

According to the police, a land dispute was going on for a long time between Barsati and Lalji belonging to two different parties in Budnai village. This land dispute turned into a bloody fight on Friday morning over littering. After a minor altercation, a fight broke out between the two sides and soon both the sides started throwing sticks and bricks and stones.

In this fight, 11 persons from both sides were seriously injured in which 40-year-old Ram Singh died. All the 10 injured were admitted to the Kothi Community Health Center for treatment, where the injured have been sent to the district hospital if their condition worsens.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dr. Akhilesh Narayan said that one person died in a fight over a dispute over throwing garbage. He told that people from both sides were injured in this fight, who are being treated.

The ASP said that the police reached the spot as soon as the information about the incident was received. Police sent the dead body for postmortem and are probing the matter.
