US: 3 Indian women from Gujarat dead after overspeeding car flies 20 feet over bridge

US: Three Indian women were killed in a horrific car accident in Greenville County, South Carolina. They were identified as Rekhaben Patel, Sangitaben Patel and Manishaben Patel. All decades are residents of Anand district of Gujarat.

According to the information, One man injured in this incident. The accident happened when the speeding SUV they were travelling in crossed all lanes, climbed an embankment, rose 20 feet in the air, and crashed into some trees on the other side.

The SUV traveling north on I-85 crossed all lanes, climbed an embankment, and leapt at least 20 feet into the air before crashing into trees on the opposite side of the bridge, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office report.

Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis told media, “It’s clear they were traveling at a speed in excess of the posted speed limit.” He also clarified that no other cars were involved. The car was found stuck on a tree, shattered into several pieces, which is evidence of the speed at which it collided with the surrounding environment.

Giving details about this incident, Mr. Ellis said, “It’s very rare that you see a vehicle leave the road at such a high speed that it crosses 4-6 lanes of traffic and lands in trees about 20 feet away.” He also said,”Right now, it appears the vehicle is on its wheels, but when the vehicle crossed all four lanes of traffic, it likely struck trees at least 20 feet above the ground.”

After receiving information about this incident, Emergency response teams including multiple units from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Gant Fire and Rescue and Greenville County EMS arrived at the scene. The injured man shifted to hospital and his condition remains uncertain. The vehicle’s identification system alerted some family members about the crash, who then alerted local authorities in South Carolina.
